Pours a clear orange-gold from draught at the brewery. slight white head and lace. Light caramel aroma. Hop bitterness tops the maltiness and yields an even dry/sweet flavor balance where the hop bitterness pushes through. Moderate carbonation accentuates the hops. A nice "amber".

A good red Ale by a nice Albuquerque Brewery. This beer has a nice nose, hoppy and bright for a red ale. The caramel malts are present and well balanced. My main complaint is the lack of smoothness.

Not bad. Full flavor - not the smoothest ever, but closely balanced with clean appley hops and caramel-enough malts. Good color too, an attractive orange-red.
