The flavour is heavily roasted with tones of coffee and dark bitter chocolate alongside some citric hops. Medium to heavily bitter and dry. Medium to full bodied.

A beautiful looking beer; black with a frothy coffee coloured head. The aroma has chocolate, fruit, light roast and a hint of sourness. Full bodied in the mouth with lots of roasted malts. Caramel, chocolalte and fruit, and maybe a little too much soy sauce. Quite heavy but very enjoyable. Papsoe (10510), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 20, 2008 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Pours an opaque black with a creamy, light brown and lacing head. Aroma of burned malt and good aroma hops. Medium body with very burned malt accents and a little vanilla.
