Aug 14, 2008 Cask@GBBF2008. Slightly hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is huge ginger with some cinnamon in it too. Flavour is ginger, wood, some vanilla and a bit of grassyness in the finish. Wellbalanced, refreshing and very gingery all the way through.

Aug 8, 2008 Cask (GBBF 2008) - Hazy amber in colour. Ginger aroma with some herbs. Tangy and spicy ginger taste with a peppery kick and some dried fruits. Very tasty and the ginger is strong but not overwhelming.

Aug 6, 2008 Cloudy amber with tiny white head. Sweet fruity aroma with ginger and pepper notes. Sweet flavor with ginger, fruits, caramel and a nice pepper bite in the end.

May 15, 2008 Updated: May 16, 2008Cask in Blackfriars. I suppose if your not hot in ginger this wont be that grat, but the fact of the matter is i love ginger! Theres no point in an indepth evaluation, this is souly ginger through and through, burning peppery, my god its got a kick! Possibly one of the most drinkable beers ever made for me. RERATE: Simply soo drinkable and soo appealing, this rivals lambic for the most drinkable style and go back-to style.
