Exploded out of the bottle. Then pored with a massive head that took some time to dissipate. Cant help think that ginger beers are a novelty. This was a novelty that wasn’t even a decent beer.

Fresh, brisk ginger assaults the nose carrying with it a spicy, honeyed malt character also. Round and malty in the mouth with some ginger bread man-esque flavours. Reasonably intense. The texture is both tingly and syrupy and genuinely good. One of my top ginger beers. Rune (2862), Tromsø, Norway

Slightly unclear orange-golden body. The ginger part is rather over the top in aroma and taste. Notes of malts beneath. Spicy bitter endnotes. Different with some pleasing moments, but not easy to drink (Second day at the festival, 05.08.2009). Nekronos (2264), Xalapa, Mexico

A blond ale with ginger that dominates flavor and aroma. Why I keep drinking these when I’m not that fond of ginger in my beer , is still a mystery :D. Spicy ginger aroma that covers the malt. Very nearly clear dark gold covered by thick, lasting shaving cream. Ginger flavour that is peppery spicy with some faint nutty toffee and a late ginger bitter spice pop. Light to medium body, low carbonation, very slight bitter finish. Pours clear dark golden with a nice, creamy, staying, white head. Aroma has lots of peppery ginger, light sweet malts. Light carbonation, great creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is pleasantly sweet with lots of ginger. Just turning wonderfully peppery. Long, lingering gingery spiced finish. Yum.
