Draught at the southern Blue Corn location. beer is very dark brown, nearly opaque. Head is small, light brown, creamy; diminishing but mostly lasting.<P>The aroma is malty with light/moderate notes of roasted grain, cookie, lighter notes of chocolate, caramel, strong coffee; Hoppy with light notes of herb, resin/pine; Yeasty with a light note of dough; Light miscellaneous note of smoky peat.<P>The flavor is moderately/heavily sweet, trace/lightly acidic, lightly bitter with an average-length, lightly sweet, lightly bitter finish. Peaty rets.<P>The body is light, the texture is watery/velvety and the carbonation is average.<P>Nice sample.

Draught. Low white and quickly disappearing head. Pitch black body. Coffee liquorice choccolate caramel cream aroma and flavor. Low carbonation. Long bitter aftertaste.

Draught at GABF 2008 as Marble Oatmeal Stout. Black coloured with a medium sized beige head. Roasted aroma of caramel and chocolate with notes of and and coffee. Sweet and roasted flavour of caramel, chocolate and hops. Roasted finish.
