rlgk (3014), Motala, Sweden Aug 1, 2008 Bottle. Hazy amber/orange color, huge lasting head.Malty chocolate aroma, vanilla notes. Malty chocolate flavor, cocoa notes, some vanilla and some nuts. Nutty, malty finish. Suprisingly good. thill25 (185), Orlando, Florida, USA Jul 10, 2008 33 cl bottle...pours hazy dark gold accompanied with some floaties and an extra active white head .(i.e. over carbonated, at least two finger). The nose was booming with fruits, yeast and spice. This carried over to the flavor of the beer creating a mix of caramel, apple, toffee, and sweet bread. I’m not sure this was on par with style as it drank more like a Belgian golden ale than an amber ale. Nonetheless, this was a very good beer that I’ll seach for again on my next trip to the French Riviera. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 6, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Unclear, dark amber, very small head. Lightly perfumy nose. Sweetish malt and rather spicy - pronounced notes of ginger. Dry, bitter hops in the finish. 020705 madsberg (4365), Bangalore, India Jul 3, 2005 Bottled: Orange colour. Unclear. Light brown head. Is spiced, sweet and fruity in the aroma. Flavour of alcohol, fruit and light citrus. Citric and acidic in the end. beastiefan2k (1101), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA Feb 22, 2006 Got this beer as part of 3 pack from Nice. Waited a while before drinking, the expiration date has passed 08/2005. The beer pours with very little head, amber colored, some carbonation. Aroma is strong, an acidic sweetness. Body is light-medium. Taste is strong but difficult to describe. Aftertaste has just a little bit of bitterness and sweetness.
