blackmurder (163), sadf, Hawaii, USA May 14, 2008 A very easy drinking belgian especially considering the alcohol. Notes of sweet flowers come through in the aroma. Taste is of dank Belgian beer, sweet and easy on the palate. I enjoyed this one, you would too.
Allen (473), Wölflinswil, Switzerland Jul 6, 2008 Bottled 33cl. It pours a beer with a nicely lasting creamy head. Sweet taste. Malty with hints of almonds, hazelnuts, marshmallows, apples, banana, marzipan and apricots. Buttery. A bit boring. No punch to this beer. Musty. Sweet unpleasant yeasty finish with a hint of paprika. Dissapointing. thegreenrooster (1433), St.louis, Missouri, USA Jul 1, 2008 Pour is a dark red with a large tan head. Aroma is very hoppy and fruit with a bready malt underneath. Flavor is again more of the cirtrus fruit with some doughy malts. Finish has some candi sugar with no noticeable alcohol. A kind of different but tasty rep of the style. Probably the hoppiest triple i have ever had. Bradrcr (519), Renton, Washington, USA Jun 29, 2008 6/29/08 From .33l bottle. Aroma is fruity and tart with very light peppery phenolics and no hops. Appearance is clear copper gold with a well maintained white head and some lacing. Flavor is sweet and citrusy with medium bittering and an interesting grain flavor that blends with a bit of its own texture. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a moderate carb texture and slight resiny feel. Overall, an interesting brew that is light enough to be approachable even by those who can’t stand Belgians. Wim (559), Turnhout, Belgium Jun 28, 2008 orange coloured sparkling body with a hughes white head a spicy fruity hoppy aroma a spicy hoppy fruity taste with a malty bitter finish Yves (228), Beerse, Belgium Jun 28, 2008 Clear amber coloured beer with medium off white had and medium carbonation. Malty fruity aroma (chocolate). Full palate. Bitter and herby ending. Good one.
