Nov 27, 2008 Golden color with a frothy white head that stays forever. Fresh malty aroma with hints of dried fruit and yeast. Quite plain sweet malty flavor with spices, fruit and a touch of sourness. Bitter vinous finish. Lightbodied and well carbonated.

Nov 1, 2008 Updated: Oct 3, 2009Bottled 33cl. It pours a deep golden beer with a decent head. The nose is of glue, brown sugar and hops. Poor taste. High bitterness. Dry finish. Additional comment: A rather nice belgian ale. Enjoyed it a lot more the second time. Still staying with the initial rating though.

Nov 1, 2008 Tasted 30/10/2008, 330ml bottle from Regionals. Hazy orange gold, white head. Richer bready malt than I get from most blonds, balanced nicely with a decent little combination of clove and spicy orange-like hop. nice pithy bitterness in the finish. Decent beer that’s a good step above the average blond on the streets of Wellington (I’m thinking Leffe and La Trappe rather than the ladies).

palate ordinary.
overall a great brew, i’ve got nothing real to critizise, except nothing really makes it special beyond very good.

Oct 26, 2008 330 ml bottle from a LCBO gift pack. pours clear golden with a mis white head. pale malt and belgian yeast aromas with some hops. the flavour is similar to the aroma with nothing major good or bad to point out. a good solid session blonde belgian ale.

Oct 9, 2008 Bottle 0,33l. Golden colored. A bit hazy. An OK fluffy head lasting a few minutes. Pleasant aroma of yeast and some spice. Well rounded flavor of spice with sweet hints. Malty and fruity aftertaste - lasting for a while. Dry bitter finish. KI=2.

Sep 29, 2008 The label has a new design, but in my opinion the old design was better... The beer has a hazy amber appearance with a nice head. Aroma of sweet and fruity citruses, a hint of buttery-creamy perfumes. Smooth mouthfeel with a spicy sweet taste, some hop. Nice but i’ve waited more about that beer.

Sep 24, 2008 <i>Bottle.</i> Pours a hazy, light amber with a big, but diminishing, off-white head. Some lacing. Sweetish aroma with a citrusy sourness. Yeast. Sweet flavour and a nice blend of candy, yeast and citrus. Alcoholic finish (in a nice way) with lots of yeast, and some lingering grassy notes. A bit too much carbonation.
