Sweet aroma, alcohol tatse comes through quite clearly, I prefer the Maredsous 10 for a more balanced glass. tarjei (1755), Bryne, Norway

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | May 7, 2008 Stiff frothy, very high and lasting head. Pale yellow, the charchteristic belgian stale ale aroma, apparent alcohol, and not so much more. Too one way... Skidds (252), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 4, 2008 Aroma resembles citric fruits, peach, honey. The head is beige, not much persistant, but acceptable. The beautiful ambar color is an atractive, although it is not filtered (no sediments). Flavor is malty, with the presence red/yellow citric fruits, a little bit acid. Light to medium body, medium complexity and carbonatation. The bitterness is discrete, very well balanced and integrated. The finish is smooth, with a pleasant sensation of carbonatation. The aftertaste is malty, one of the best I have ever found. Easy drinkability, this beer is perfect to have on a happy hour! Marsiblursi (1652), Göteborg, Sweden
