Weak but balanced nose, sweet and fruity. Aroma is much the same, but spiced as well. Medium to full body, a bit dry. Some hops in the finish. Delicious, refreshing when cold, but maybe a bit boring. Definately not bad though. (070512) thewolf (5828), Kolding, Denmark

Head is great, wavy and creamy. Sweet aroma with malty hay, barn and a whiff of oranges. Flavour is lightly sour with a clear oranges tone to it. It really gets into my cheek at the end. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 2, 2007 Huge off-white head that leaves nice lacing and islands of foam. The color is light amber. The aroma is light with notes of coriander and pineapple. These light notes are present in the flavour too, and it’s not as sweet as the typical blonde, it has a bit more fruit, apple is rather dominant and I also find honey melon, citrus, coriander and light fruits like pineapple. The finish is nice and long with a modest bitterness, but a nice citrus acidity. It’s shouldn’t be too warm, then it losses magic - so drink it on the cold side - between 12 - 15 centigrades. Cerveja dourada com boa espuma e um aroma doce. Sabor meio termo entre o doce e o amargo, o mesmo para o sabor que fica na boca. davidpl (435), Santiago, Chile

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 16, 2007 An agreeable and well-balanced blonde ale that exceeded my expectations. Golden, translucent, with a sticky, white head that diminishes but lasts. Honey and pear aroma. Flavor is a fulsome balance of sweet and bitter, malty, with some citrus and honey in there. Finish is dry and bittersweet with the bitter part lasting. There is nothing here that other blondes lack--this is just a well-made version. Grovlam (3825), Copenhagen, Denmark
