| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 6, 2006 Bottle, Pub Italia. Hazy brownish orange, thick medium bubbly head. Strong spicy aroma, lots of yeast and dust - very nice! Decent taste: dusty, spicy, malt - a dark blonde? Quite nice overall actually - this one snuck up on me as and surprised me with its quality. Fruity malty aroma, litte citrus in it and some herby notes. Full body, little sweeter. The finish is little sweet-bitter with again some herbs in it with a shorter ending. Not bad! | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 23, 2006 Bottle (from Bitter Virtue). Deep golden. A fairly interesting light belgian with slight fruitiness some sweetness and peppery hops. This does have hints of a stronger brew not through overt alcohol just the overall impression. Whether this is anything to do with the beer itself or the ingrained attitude from years of drinking beer in British pubs which sees 5% as strong and anything much above 5.5% as rocket fuel. Never mind that its only 330ml of a 6% which out to a pint of a session strength beer many would see this as a bit strong for them. Quevillon (1531), Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada
