On tap. Golden in color with a nice white fluffy head. Very malty spicey aroma. Juniper. Little hop character. Flavor is spicey. Hints of Juniper and Vanilla. Ummm. Finish is dry. Nice beer. Enjoyable.

Bottle (330ml). At The Abbey, Ottawa. Poured hazy orange-yellow with an average off-white lasting foamy head, nice lacing. Aroma much like a German weissbier, orange juice, ashy hops, yeast, plenty of malt - mild. Taste much as promised by the nose - malt, yeast, some ash-hop bitterness at the end. Mouthfeel very acidic and lively, noticeable alcohol for 6%. Overall a bit too bitter-harsh for me, the fruity citrus malt gets a bit overwhelmed; finishes oddly like apple juice as it warms up.

Orangey dark blond with white creamy head. Aromas of melon, yeast, hop, honey. Some sugar in the taste but not overdone. Good finish with a little hop bitterness. Very pleasant.

1-Apr-05 Pleasant fruity hop aroma and lightish malt. Good head and lacing. Heaps of suspended sediment cloudy bronze colour. Full of hops, light swet, lacks malt. Light mouthfeel lingering pleasant hops. Too light and undistincive.

Bottled (BBE 12/2007)
Light amber color, good foamy off-white head. Aroma is malty, slightly metallic and also has sweety yeasty notes. Medium-bodied, even liquerish palate. Starts carbonated, then malty backbone rides in with some sweetness. Slightly hoppy aftertaste. Simple beer but interesting enough.
