Hazt golden with a very nice creamy head. Aroma from bread, yeast and citrus. Citrus flavor, some hops but quite milod. A vit boring and flat to be a belgian ale.

1-Apr-05 Pleasant fruity hop aroma and lightish malt. Good head and lacing. Heaps of suspended sediment cloudy bronze colour. Full of hops, light swet, lacks malt. Light mouthfeel lingering pleasant hops. Too light and undistincive.

Bottled (BBE 12/2007)
Light amber color, good foamy off-white head. Aroma is malty, slightly metallic and also has sweety yeasty notes. Medium-bodied, even liquerish palate. Starts carbonated, then malty backbone rides in with some sweetness. Slightly hoppy aftertaste. Simple beer but interesting enough.

(Bottle 33 cl) Duvel often changes it’s versions of the abbeybeer Maredsous. This 6 I’ve had before in an "Amber" and a "Donker" version, but I don’t believe those version exist anymore. The labels seem to change just as often. This beer isn’t all blonde. More fully golden, bordering on amber with large floating impurities. Impressive and quite a stable head. Very dry and overwhelmingly bitter - not exactly impressive. 040304

Heady pour. Deep yellow colour. Excellent lace. Refreshing aroma, apricot, citrus, with a typical belgian spiciness. Mellow flavour with decent finish, but not a big fan of the mouthfeel. A little on the heavy side for me. Cheers!

Bottle. Slightly hoppy and wheaty aroma. Golden colour, white head. Wheaty flavour with a little acidic feel to it. Nice bitterness in aftertaste. Very decent beer.

Bottle, at Benny. Medium amber with large white ehad, almost lasting. Fine lacings. Aroma of malt, yeast and slight of hops. Flavour light sweet and bitter. Light to medium body, watery, lively carbonated.

Had it on the tap. Little bit fruity like aroma. Hard to tell. Slightly sweet, fruity. A little bit cider and bitterness in the end. Nice beer.
