Light amber color, good foamy off-white head. Aroma is malty, slightly metallic and also has sweety yeasty notes. Medium-bodied, even liquerish palate. Starts carbonated, then malty backbone rides in with some sweetness. Slightly hoppy aftertaste. Simple beer but interesting enough. Papsoe (15029), Frederiksberg, Denmark

This 6 I’ve had before in an "Amber" and a "Donker" version, but I don’t believe those version exist anymore. The labels seem to change just as often. This beer isn’t all blonde. More fully golden, bordering on amber with large floating impurities. Impressive and quite a stable head. Very dry and overwhelmingly bitter - not exactly impressive. 040304 Sanchex (223), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 16, 2005 Heady pour. Deep yellow colour. Excellent lace. Refreshing aroma, apricot, citrus, with a typical belgian spiciness. Mellow flavour with decent finish, but not a big fan of the mouthfeel. A little on the heavy side for me. Cheers!
