| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 15, 2009 This hazy golden ale poured with an active off-white head that soon bubbled away. There is a fruity malt aroma and a sweet fruity flavor with lots of spices, in fact a bit too much for me. This is an interesting refreshing brew, but not entirely pleasing. bb (2919), Martinez, California, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 28, 2009 Appearance: Hazy golden colour with a huge foam that left a ton of lacing. It actually leaves big chunks of foam on the side of the glas. Looks very appealing.
Smell: Ripe fruit, sweet, yeast and nuts.
Taste: Sweet but not so fruity, some nuts, spicy with some yeast and a slight alcoholic taste. However it’s pretty smooth and easy to drink. It feels very balanced but I would have preferred some more spicy taste to it. tmoreau (579), Lombard, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 27, 2009 Served in a beautiful, Maredsous logo stemware at a launch party at the Bavarian Lodge, Lisle, IL. Poured a clear, golden/amber, with a white head that diminished to a bubbly layer and a small ring of clingy lacing. The aroma was a little sweet, with notes of floral, fruit, and light spice. The flavor continued these and a light malt sweetness but also exposed some tartness. Medium bodied and good carbonation. Would have liked some finishing dryness, but didn’t sense any.
