A very nice Belgian Ale. It has a dark yellow color, but not a lot of head. It doesn’t have a lot of aroma, but the flavor is great it’s both fruity and hoppy.

(Bottle 33 cl) Duvel often changes it’s versions of the abbeybeer Maredsous. This 6 I’ve had before in an "Amber" and a "Donker" version, but I don’t believe those version exist anymore. The labels seem to change just as often. This beer isn’t all blonde. More fully golden, bordering on amber with large floating impurities. Impressive and quite a stable head. Very dry and overwhelmingly bitter - not exactly impressive. 040304

33 cL bottle at Den tatoverede Enke. Pours golden and clear orange with a collapsing white head, gets slight more cloudy with the last yeasty pour. Light cornish towards grainy dry aroma with a mild yeast note. Light bitter and mild yeasty note in the flavour. Dry and bitter finish. Slight yeasty note into the finish.

Sampled draught at Stockholm Beer Festival.
Deep golden with small creamy head. Dry and caramelly. Notes of grass and toffee. Rather clean. Pretty good, but not overly complex.

Bottle 33cl @ home.
Light light unclear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toffee, sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (040708)

Bottle. Slightly hoppy and wheaty aroma. Golden colour, white head. Wheaty flavour with a little acidic feel to it. Nice bitterness in aftertaste. Very decent beer.

Draught. Reddish amber colour, big foamy head. Aroma of fruits, sourness and hops. Flavour of fruits, hops and sourness. Still kind of (un)pleasantly sweet. This is one of the beers which are not crap, yet I don’t like it too much. HArd to say if it’s very good or bad.
