blankboy (2711), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 5, 2009 Bottle (330ml). Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange with a large diminishing foamy off-white head. Nice aroma is yeasty, sweet and fruity along with some spices. Flavour’s the same, yeasty, fruity, slightly spicy and has a light bitter finish. Medium bodied. A very good beer, it’s well made and quite enjoyable to drink. rosenbergh (199), Helsinki, Finland Dec 31, 2008 750 ml bottle. Finland.
I rated this beer before I had RateBeer account. So I do not have any comments for this beer. Sorry!
dnas2 (548), Yelverton, Devon., Devon, England Dec 21, 2008 Bottled. Dark for a blonde beer, with a scumy head . Citrus and malt scent. Moderately carbonated. Quite bitter and dry. Lemons predominate with some biscuit but not especially malty. A bit bland. Straling (114), Amstenrade, Netherlands Dec 17, 2008 Bottle 33cl.
Pours a clear coppor colour with a normal size head an carbonation.
Aroma gives away some fruits, also some spices and some hops there too.
Taste is also fruity and hoppy, very sweet aftertaste and a little bit of smokeyness in the finish. sunevdj (1550), Copenhagen OE, Denmark Dec 7, 2008 On tap at Academie de la Biere. Pours a clear dark yellow with a white head and good lacings. Strong smells of Belgian yeast esters. Dry and sweet. Aromas of Belgian yeast. Hint of metals. Medium body. Very soft carbonation. Dry pilsnerish finish.
