Nov 22, 2007 A very nice beer. Pours a bronze-yellow colour. Sweet aroma, wiht caramel and fruit flavours.

Jan 2, 2004 Beer 29 Belgium trip. Draft at abbey in ceramic mug. Light amber (I also saw it in a glass), decent head. Yeasty smell with some cloves. Tastes of cloves, anise, and yeast. Not usually a big fan of beers with anise notes, but this was really quite good, an excellent blonde.

Aug 30, 2002 Updated: Sep 20, 2006Bottle: citrus and hops. Bit yeasty. Fresh with just a hint of tartness. Lots of flavor for such a light beer.
Tap: Café Morshuis in Albergen. Dark golden color. Butter, malt and cookies in the aroma. Cookies, nutmeg, hops and a touch of butter in the flavor. Nutty bitter aftertaste. Nice one! (8 3 7 3 13 = 3.4) The bottle will need a re-rate, I guess.

Jun 10, 2004 Copper tinted amber with a liquidy froth head above. Papaya/mango-like sweet floury aroma with a touch of green apple acidicness and sprinkles of spice...Spicey sweet and yeasty flavors with a superb doughiness surrounding baking bananas and vanilla custard. This was very enjoyable for having 8° and 10° brothers.
