Ungstrup (11930), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 9, 2004 A red-brown beer with a fine chocolate brown head though collapsing and lazing. The aroma is of straw, licorice, roasted malt, and brown sugar, but a little faint. The flavor is sweet with a little sourness in the background and notes of brown sugar dominating, but also with notes of licorice and hints of wood. The body is a little thin, but no wonder for a low alcohol beer. Quite nice. Hansen (1871), Randers, Denmark Jul 27, 2003 To the type of beer, this is ok. But the type is way to sweet. This one is malty and real sweet. Perhaps it has a hint of plastic in the aroma. Mads Langtved (2246), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Mar 26, 2005 Brown. Quickly diminishing head. Metallic and rusty body. Quite bad hvidtøl. Artificial. Jeppe (2637), Ølbutikken, Denmark Apr 16, 2004 Tall foamy tan head on a dark brown body. Extremely sweet malt and brown sugar aroma and flavor. Actually quite nice for a low alcohol beer but very very sweet, almost like sugar water! joergen (6951), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 12, 2005 Bottled.
Brown coloured with a beige head.
Acidic aroma of cane sugar and dried fruits.
The flavour is cloyingly sweet with notes of dried fruits.
