Gr0ve (1135), Oslo, Norway Oct 11, 2008 500 ml can. Golden colour. Crystal clear. Tall white coarse head. Lovely floral hop aroma. Crisp malt aroma as well. Sparkling mouthfeel with crisp carbonation and lots of grainy malts. More floral hops flavourwise. Overall a nice quaffable rich pilsener. The somewhat above average alcohol content can be noticed as the beer is richer. Finishes with a dry and bitter taste.
Svesse (1920), Hässelby, Sweden Dec 1, 2008 (Can) golden yellow colour with lasting, frothy, white head. Malty, grassy nose with notes of bread, hay, citrus, honey and fresh hops. Malty taste with bread, grass, citrus, orange peel and a decent grassy bitternes in a fairly short finish. Balanced sweetness, on the thin side. Quite decent but hardly exciting. In short: fresh and grassy standard lager. Miksu (1478), Jyväskylä, Finland Nov 21, 2008 Golden color with small head. Perfumed aroma with alcohol and tart fruitiness. Dry fruity and honeyish flavor with fruity-herbal bitterness. Somewhat soda like with low maltiness and coase bitterness. OleR (1434), Oslo, Norway Aug 28, 2008 Can. Big dense white head.
