Commercial Description:
A great fruit beer. The blueberry flavor is a perfect marriage of ingredients. Light and refreshing, this beer is great all by itself or blended with another. Try a Black and Blue which is a mix of Stout and Bluebeery Ale.

Very good spring/summer ale. Crisp amber pour, medium silver cloud head. Refreshing taste, recommended.

Poured a cloudy yellow with a moderate sized head. Smelled of blueberries, but lacked in blueberry taste. It was decent, but not something I would buy again.

Hazy yellow, moderate head, decent lacing and retention. Aroma is blueberries, lighter fruits, wheat, pale malts. Light body. Well made but I didn’t find flavors as enjoyable as their Peach ale I just had.

Name: Blueberry
Date: 12/04/2007
Mode: Bottle
Source: Roadtrip

hazy yellow, frothy white head, sweet malt aroma with a nice blueberry presence leading to a touch of fruity grape skin tartness, sweet malt flavor, light blueberry character is in good harmony with the malt rather than taking over or being lost, light tartness balances the sweet malt, a blueberry beer done right, no wonder it is such an award winner

Bottle and served in standard pint glass: Clean golden hue with big fluffy head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of Blueberry Candles due to a soapy and chalky yeast vapour along with a hint of herbal hop and lemongrass. The taste is rather straight forward blueberry and pale grains with just a touch of hop bitterness. The mouth feel is refreshingly carbonated and chalky finish. Too too shabby but wish it was more tart fruit and less chalky tasting.

22 oz bottle. Poured a slightly hazy light orange/golden color. Head was fluffy and white with decent retention. A bit of lace was left behind. Aroma was of distinct blueberries. I smelled them as soon as I popped the cap off. There were also honey-touched cereal grain and buttery notes that were masked somewhat by the more dominant blueberry. The flavor was also blueberry dominated. There was subdued acidity up front that tapered off gradually. The finish was marked by delicate sweetness and a pleasant blueberry muffin-ish note. Fairly well done blueberry beer.

Bottle from Pizza Port. Wife picked out this one. Clear yellow with no head. Aroma of malt and fruit. Blue berry taste with a strong bready finish.

I had low hopes going in after having their raspberry beer. Pours a nastly pale lager yellow, with a bright white head. Looks like the shitty Orion I just had. Nose has extremely faint blueberry. The taste is light and has flavor from an extract. Not horrible, but not good at all in the scheme of beers that use artificial blueberry.
