Commercial Description:
"White Knuckle Ale" is a Double India Pale Ale. That's right, twice the malt and twice the hops in one 14 barrel batch. It is named in honor of the exciting bike trail on Mt. Tam. If you are a "hophead", this one's for you; fat, chewy, resiny and pungent! Pour into a wide-mouthed glass and get ready to rip!

I have been wanting to try this one for years and it did not disappoint. A deep copper body with some bronze. A dense yellow khaki head on top. The aroma was strong grapefruit with some tropical mango. There was also bread crust. The taste was sweet grapefruit and burnt bread crust. There was also a little bit of peanuts. Awesome.

Bottle. Thank you BrianK for the share. Pours an amber orange body with a white creamy head. Sweet hop notes of citrus, and a tangy grapefruit. Light pine and floral hop resins. Good brew!

Tap @ City beer, SF. Clear golden color, short head. Aroma of grapefruit, hint of citrus, loads of hop ofcourse. Good bitter taste, fruity, citrussy, good malty body. Great stuff.
