Right up there with all the other bomb IIPA’s at the event, one of the better ones of the festival, alongside Doheny Double IPA. Rich floral aroma, lots of resin and grapefruit, and hefty caramel malts. Sappy flavors linger forever. Right up my alley. jarspag (598), Los Angeles, California, USA

Exactly what you’re looking for in a big bold double. I was diggin it... WeeHeavySD (2990), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

Last beer of the fest for me, and damn I missed some good things but drank a lot of super high quality beer. Pours orange with a thin tan head. Nose is hoppy sweet, and very citrussy. Taste is sweet hoppy and very very big in flavor. nightrider (380), encinitas, California, USA

Aroma is rich with PNW hops: grapefruit, citurs, pine, resin, etc. Body is medium to heavy, somewhat sticky sweet. I wanted more bitterness, but still enjoyable. bitbucket (2034), Kirkland, Washington, USA

Pine, papaya and pineapple in the nose. Medium body and light carbonation. Sweet taste of caramel, citrus, papaya. Semi-dry finish with some lingering piney goodness. after4ever (2773), Brier, Washington, USA

Pours crystal clear dark amber with yet another towering fluffy white head, ample lacing, and huge sweet piney nose. Did somebody get a good deal on Columbus hops in Cali this year? If so, how did they pull that one off? Nice medium body, soft carb, and gently sweet and forward flavors. Tangy pine and slight overtones of tropical fruit, but very much a piney DIPA. Good stuff. Certainly not the most interesting hoppy beer CA has to offer, but definitely lovely and refreshing. ratman197 (3222), Arvada, Colorado, USA
