Oct 3, 2009 22 oz bottle shared generously by footbalm. A really nice nose; the first thing I though was "man, this smells like amazing weed", piny and very perfumy hops. The flavor is similar; a strong hop profile, not aggressive citrus and bitter hops, but more perfume-like, piny hops, Smooth and chewy. A lot of fruit as well, but more of a tropical fruit. Easy to drink.

Oct 3, 2009 Bottled sample via and shared with oakbluff. Hazy orange and a gusher. Aromas of latex paint, mandarin orange, and funk. More paint and orange in the mouth, along with peppery grasses and pale malts. Clearly infected.... I guess all the hops in a double ipa can only help so much. Too bad.

Oct 2, 2009 22 ounce bottle - hazy orange, bit of a gusher. uh oh. Nose- smells infected. Not a good sign. Taste- has a storng twinge of infection which is a shame as there is a good beer underneath- still can tell mango hops and cookie dough malt. Carbonation high. Disapointing.

Sep 27, 2009 Sampled at GABF 2009. Dark orange pour. Peach, pineapple, and mango aroma. Sweet tangerine and pineapple flavor. A great DIPA.

Sep 15, 2009 Pours burnt orange with a small orange head. Aroma is potent with heavy notes of peach, raisins, caramel, toffee, and pine. The taste is caramel, toffee, fig, peach and all kinds of fruitiness. This is a very vinous beer, super thick, and finishes very bitter with a toasty feel to it. It almost reminds me of a super hoppy American barley wine. Very different, and very good. The alcohol content is very noticeable. It seems more like a 10%.

Sampled from a 22oz bottle from OTM. Appearance is a clear bodied brown/gold hue with a thin off-white head. Nose has some nice pine tones with an intense vanilla oil note. Deep driving pine on the tongue with a full malt backing. The mouth on this is very dry, bitter pushing to syrupy malt. A mean DIPA with one of the more complex malty backings.

Sep 11, 2009 Thanks to Joenuegs for the bottle. Muddy amber pour. Thin off white head and spotty lace. Grapefruit and pine on the nose. Medium bodied. Resinous, chewy, grapefruit rind, citrus, and crystal malts. Nice balance, bitter then a sweet finish

Sep 8, 2009 Dan’s Bachelor Party Extended Weekend Rating #7 of 90. Bottle. Pours clear, dark bronze and just looks simply elequent. Has an overload of piney hops on the nose, very inviting. Taste comes through with bitter, dry hops, lots of pine and is clean and smooth going down. Very Tasty! Thanks for bringing this one out with you Dan.
