Tap at the Bistro BA Fest. Pours amber with no head. Aroma is oaky funk. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is oaky/funky. Really so. It is so mildly, decently soury, funky. And wonderfully oaky/woody.

Draft. Slightly hazy amber beer with an off-white head. Boozy, wheat, and malt aroma. Boozy, wheat flavor with white wine fruitiness. Medium-plus bodied. Wheat, yeast, white wine linger with alcohol.

Bottle 18,7 cl. Pours a clear amber with hardly any head. Lightly tart aroma with notes of fruit and cork. Medium body, overripe fruit, caramel, wood, mould, cork and acetone flavours. Dry, lightly tart finish with lots of alcohol and biting acetone. 110709

Draft at the Bistro’s BA Fest! Nose of caramel, brandy, and an apple note;clear light brown with a light ring of bubbles; flavor of tart apples, alcohol, and brett; tastes and smells more like an apple brandy than beer. Listed as 12% ABV at the Bistro.

On tap at Marin brewpub during the 2009 RBSG visit there. Clear copper pour, the flavors I got were sherry and some alcohol.

Pours pale copper with no head. Funk nose with some sweetness. A bit odd in the flavor with tart wine vinous and brett funk mixing oddly with the sweetness from the wheat wine, along with pretty prominent alcohol.

On tap at Bistro Barrel Aged Fest. Pours and apricot color with no head, just a few white bubbles, and a funky barnyard aroma. The flavor is even more barnyard than the aroma, sweet and funky. It reminds me of the first time I drank gueuze - it started off tasting like garbage, but after some acclimation it started tasting better.

On tap @ Bistro BA Fest poured a clear copper with n o head. Aromas of sour apple and horseblanket. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of sour apple, toffee, spice and horseblanket with a smooth funky finish.
