Bottled. A light golden beer with sediment floating around under a huge bubbly light orange head. The aroma is sweet wheaty combined with notes of banana and oranges. The flavor is sweet wheaty again with notes of banana, leading to a dry wheaty finish. The body is thin - and considering the 7.5% ABV, I’d say watery.

(Bottle 65 cl) Hazy golden with tiny impurities and a very lively, bubbly head - the carbonation is extreme. Very fruity nose with a hint of banana. Medium body, Hubbabubba style fruit flavours - I reckon something went wrong here, that bubbly mouthfeel just can’t be right. 160607

22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Mild citrusy hops aroma and light wheaty. Sweet wheat malty flavoured. Mild citrusy note. Medium dry and light estery flavoured finish. Rather plain brew, I guess it does well at the brewpub for those interested in smooth hefeweizen brews.

Draught at the brewery
Kind of straddling a very imaginary boundary between hefeweizen and weizen bock. Opaque yellowish colour with creamy white head. Beautiful hefe banana, marshmallow and icing sugar aroma. Big body - the alcohol shows through the weizen rather strongly. The base weizen flavours are of a sweet, moderately complex and relatively clean example. I’m just put off by the fact that it seems only the alcohol was ratcheted up to create this hybrid.

22oz bottle shared courtesy of egajdzis (thanks!). Poured a medium to deep and cloudy golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of banana, wheat, cloves, and some citrus. Tastes where mainly of wheat with some citrus. Very wheaty. Tastes was somewhat of a let down compared to the aroma. Body on the thinner side.
