Lots of yeast in the bottom of the bottle. Nose was banana with lemon and a yeasty flavor. Mouthfeel was fizzy and it seemed highly carbonated. Dry finish with a touch of hops. Tastes like a little like a German Hefe but mostly an American Wheat. SledgeJr (3003), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

Perhaps this should have been kept chilled by the retailer? Massive exploding beer. Huge bright white head atop a pale yellow beer that turns baby poop gold upon mixing the yeast cake into the pour. Outrageous banana aroma that confuses any other smell. Huge lemon flavor that slips into a giant wave of banana sweetness fairly quickly. Remarkable beer. takes forever to pour, but well worth it. bhensonb (4383), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 15, 2007 Aromas of yeast, wheat, clove? and some pine/resin hop. Translucent gold color with a decent white head. A bit thin, starts with spice, sour and moves to wheat. Not a lot of hop, so the finish is more wheat with a hint of spice. It’s a dry, slightly puckery finish. Not so much Hefe as the label subtitle: American Style Wheat Ale. Good to drink. riversideAK (2803), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 1, 2007 A nice sweet wheat aroma. Cloudy and yellow with a one inch head that does not go away. Lots of visible bubbles. Flavor is wheat with a very faint clove flavor as well. Beer is medium bodied and very carbonted. A refreshing American wheat beer. rmussman (906), California, USA

Great decision as they label the beer as a live beer! When we opened it two weeks later it was probably one of the best beers we had ever had. Tons of flavor and aroma and just an all around great beer. mjg74 (2000), La Mesa, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 1, 2007 Bottle from BevMo, La Mesa. THis bottle is 5.2%. This beer pour a hazy yellow color with a really big head. Somewhat sweet and spicy wheat aroma with a little yeast. Overly carbonated. Tastes like a decent American Wheat, not a German Hefe. The high level of carbonation makes it hard to find any subtleties in this brew. IrishBoy (2725), Bakersfield, California, USA

If it was a person, it would be the kind of guy that will go out of their way to not go near anything that would ever offend anybody. Nothing in this beer really had any chance to shine because it was so timid. I could tell that the beer could taste delicious, and it was, but it was like the music in an elevator; there, heard, but not listened to.
