Bomber poured a clear gold with a small lasting white head. Aromas of citrus, spice, hint of vanilla and light carmel. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Fl;avors of lemon, light spice, some barnyard and a hint of vanilla with a lingering lightly tart moderatly bitter finish.

Expecting an IPA, but got something I really did not like. Gold with a minimal white head. Dusty, dank aroma. Taste was not good. Mix of apricots with spice and vanilla. Hops were undetectable until the end of the bottle. Blech.

Rerate; Christmas in July. Poured a hazy orange/amber with a smallish off white head. Aroma of ripe fruit, sweet malt, spice and candy. Pretty sweet aroma. Flavor was much more spice focused, especially in regards to the nutmeg and cinnamon. A bit bready and a touch of sweet malt, but not much else going on here. I don’t like this one much at all. Aroma of nutmeg, citrus hops and malt. Earthy aroma. Color was a deep gold/yellow. Taste bland and appealing. Flavor much of the same as the aroma.

22 ounce bomber purchased at BevMo in Natomas. Aroma is very Belgian-like. I get plenty of coriander, banana yeasty esters, and plenty of other spiciness. Almost smells and looks like a Belgian tripel. Mildly hazy dark golden color with a medium manilla colored head and adequate lacing. Weird, fruity start, which turns rather spiced with some cinnamon and some ginger present in there as well, which burns the throat a little bit. There is a decent malty backbone to this which provides a milky and cereal-like sensation. More spiciness in the end. I must say, this is one of the spicier holiday beers I have had. Unfortuantely, this is somewhat of a turnoff to me. It tastes less like beer than many over the top fruit beers.

Pours a cloudy straw yellow with a thin white head. Bit of wheat sourness in the nose with other malt notes, light hops and spice. Fairly thin flavor profile--reminds me more of a summer beer than a winter one--the wheat and spice come though a light body.

Lots of spice to this one, very peppery, hints of orange and vanilla. Good drink, on tap at stuffed sandwich.

22oz bottle acquired in trade with DarkElf (thanks!). 2005 vintage. Poured a medium and cloudy amber color with a large sized off white head. Aromas of orange peel, cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper and light pine. Tastes of nutmeg, oranges, pine, and light vanilla. Has a honey sweetness to it. Lively body.
