#12 [Blind tasting @ Papsoe] Large egg-white thick head that mostly lasted. Cloudy golden colour. Fair display of lacework. Light notes of fruit, citrus and sour milk. Sour feel of fruit with light caramel and floral. Hint of spicy feel over the palate. Light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Light to moderated sweet and acidic flavour. Light sour finish. 4 / 5 / 6 / 3 / 12 = 3.0

22 oz. bottle. pours bright (for beer) orange-amber with about 1 finger of head that dissipates quickly. aroma mainly spice, with a little malt and vanilla. flavor is cinamon, nutmeg, slight banana, malt at first, then some bitterness, but not much for a beer with "hoppy" in the name. the mouthfeel wasn’t too thin or too thick, but the carbonation wasn’t very soft. the alcohol is well masked. overall, it’s pretty good, but could use a little more hops and a little subtler use of the spices.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden with thin white head with lacing. Malty nose with hints of spice. Flavor is lemony citrus, light, fresh vanilla, a little sourness and bitter, powdery spices. Light, lingering bitterness on the finish. Full mouthfeel.

Bottle, pours a orange hue. Full head with tight bubbles. Sweet citrus nose, with a flavor of citrus that is very clean to the finish with a lttle vanilla. I was surprised at how refreshing this one was. Great for a summer beer, allthough it is a Christmas offering. Will have again.

Bottle from Irishboy. Slainte! Pours rich gold with a head that wants to be a Marvin Gaye song and see what’s goin’ on... and quickly. Aroma of weak banana with citrus notes, mostly orange and slight grapefruit. Flavor is spicy, with notes of cinammon, gingerbread, and a bit of vanilla. Nice mouthfeel. Overall, a pretty good brew.

22oz bottle. Cloudy orange, white foamy head. heavy orange zest and honey aroma. Flavor is bitter throughout. No heavy spice flavors, not to easy to detect them. rich malt body, hints of spices in the finish. Very balanced dry palate.
