Great piney, citrusy aroma. Even some tropical fruit. Hazy apricot color with a light tan head. Piney start, a burst of citrus sweetness, and a grapefruit bitterness. Amazingly a bit of malt pops up at the very end. Substantial mouthfeel and a very smooth impression. Fantastic.

Ambient copper orange in color with a fuzzy khaki orange head holding on top. Bright, vibrant aroma reels with clementines, apricots and freesia sheets, sweetly and forcefully caressing the nose. Buttery mango drops make it on the backdoor with some lime and papaya cooler tendencies up the nose. Flavor isn’t as dynamic as the aroma would indicate, but it’s still a solid foot forward. Graham waffle cones receive a citric submission from orange dream custard. Effervescence is up there, supporting a pulpy oat flake feel and flavor. If sucked in the appropriate manner, at times it’s like an alcoholic orange Crush. Marmalade on rye carries the banner later in the game, imparting a balanced quotient that’s starved of half its original flavor intensions. Smoothed out orange rind dulls the alcohol pain. Bitterness hums when the tongue is forcefully held to the roof of the mouth, and “triple hopped” promises could simply be a marketing phrase with this rendition, rather than delivering upon the sheer adrenaline that the hop could realize when added at the opportune time. Orange blossoms and rose hips frequent rind shavings in the end with subliminal black licorice lining the aftertaste. Thanks for the bomber, tpkenned!

Bomber poured a hazy orange with a large lasting amber head. Aromas of citrus, light carmel, a hint of pine and some faint spice notes. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of orange, grapefruit, light carmel and a hint of wood with a pleasant lingering bitter finish.

Hazy orange in color, very thin white head. nice floral aromas. Then there’s the taste. Smooth but very thin. refreshing but, wher’s the hop? I’ll pass on this next time.

Dark amber body, fairly large head, decent to good lacing. Aroma was pine, grapefruit, citrus. Good balance with the bitterness and the alcohol (which was listed at 7%). Solid and well put together West coast IPA.

Had from cask at Pizza Port Real Ale Fest. Nose is quite unique among IPAs and reminiscent of a Muscat wine, some spice present as well. Mouth is smooth, full bodied, and very nice full hop flavor profile. Another outstanding beer from the Marin crew.

bottled. amberish orangey hue. not much of a head. it’s crisp and balanced. mildly hopped, and I tend to prefer more bold and bitter huge style hop. this is easy to drink, a good overall single ipa.
