Copper color body with off white head that lasted whole beer. Good lacing as well. Good citrus hop bite for flavor. Cool and crisp on the palate a real good beer. turbo (1254), Arizona, USA

Poured a beautiful dark orange amber with a thick white head that lasted the entire beer.
Aroma of hops ,orange and grapefruit.
The flavor fills your mouth with citrus and malts and a bitter hops finish that stays long on the palate. mjg74 (1998), La Mesa, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 7, 2005 Bomber. Pours a golden/reddish sort of a color. Aroma is fairly hoppy with a hint of sweetness. Pine and grapefruit, the usual suspects appear to be present. Fairly hoppy right up front with a solid malt base to balance it out. Never gets bitingly bitter, but still has plenty of hops. More grapefruit in the flavor. Overall I would say this is a solid Cali IPA. My bottle is 7%. Cornfield (4956), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 10, 2005 From a bomber - It pours a hazy apricot color with a slightly off-white head that says "ehllo," then leaves abruptly. The aroma is hops, pine and grapefruit scents. The flavor is more balanced with a caramel malt backbone that supports the hop bitterness. It has a lingering herbal/citric bitter taste. Not a very aggressive IPA, but pretty tasty nonetheless. hopdog (5606), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 29, 2005 22 oz bottle acquired in a trade with DarkElf. Poured a medium to dark, hazy orange color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of stronger pine with some flowers. Tastes of lighter pine, flowers and a little fruity. Not really bitter. Has a sweet malt balance to the lighter bitterness. Body is a little on the weak side. A tamer version of an IPA, but not bad. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 13, 2005 Very well balanced IPA. Almost to well balanced. Nice toast and dough malt with a touch of honey. Good bitterness I personally prefer much more. Piney and citrusy hop resinns. Somewhat oily and resinous mouthfeel. Good dry dinish with some residual hop. Sickboy282 (1100), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2005 Pours an orange hue with a light white head. Aromas of pine, fresh hops and a hint of lemon. Flavors of the same, but with a nice finish. Similar to the white knuckle, but not as well balanced. ElGaucho (1730), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Feb 7, 2005 Citrusy hop, sweet aroma. Dark yellow with large particalia. I shared a bomber with a friend and I got the end with all the gunk. Off-white head. Excellent lace. Head is mostly diminishing. Body is a litle thin, even with all the gunk. Passes for a session brew. Not bad, but a little disappointing.
