Fresh bright hop nose, pale orange color. A cookie-dough-like malt with extremely fresh west coast hops. Good balance and a heavy body. Very good IPA. ^

Hazy orange color, nice frothy head. Yeasty doughy nose - very bitter taste. Grassy - and fruity at the same. I liked it a lot.

(22 oz bottle, $2.80) The nose on this beer is fruity, sweet, grassy, floral and hoppy, and very inviting. This is a less bitter IPA than what you normally get from a west coast IPA, but it features an extremely floral hoppiness. It’s also fruity, lightly sweet, and mildly malty. Medium bodied, pleasantly coats the palate. Apricot in color and fairly cloudy. Very large off-white head fills about a third of the glass during the pour and very gradually settles to about an inch think layer. As the head settles (and I drink the beer), it leaves a lot of patchy ringed lace on the glass. This is pretty good overall, but I do like the malty IPA from Marin’s sister brewery (Moylan’s) better.

This is a good IPA. Foamy white head that stuck around for the entire glass. Nice hop bitterness with citrus and tobacco flavors. Very drinkable, these guys continue to impress me with their beers.

Not much for head. Some lacing. Light amber. Restrained but enjoyable citrus hop aroma. Subtle hop flavours. Light IPA for the west coast but enjoyable.

Orange color with a small white head. Lots of pine in the aroma and flavor. Flavor has a lot of pine hop flavor with a heavy bitterness. A little sweetness but not much.

Very nice aroma with a flavor to match. One of the best IPA’s I have ever tasted.
