(cask at the Larkspur Landing brewpub) copper with nice head. Only mild hops aroma. Flavor was nice hops, not overwhelming. More of a British IPA - especially with the great cask mouthfeel.

(draught at the brewpub) medium amber with small head but nice lace. Lovely hops aroma. Pine hops in the flavor. Definately a west coast style IPA

Drank it on cask at the Firkin Festival in Triple Rock. It has a very nice mouth feel of fresh hops, but it ends watery

Bottle from BevMo in Vacaville. This brew had an inexplicable palate. The hops were controlled and the taste was of citrus fruits and flowers. This was an excellent brew.

22oz bottle. Pours a dark orange color with a moderate white head that hangs around through most of the glass. A bit subdued. I just get faint grassy hop smells. Pretty nice taste. Hoppy bitter but only right up front and on the finish. The middle is dominated by a bit darker and sweeter hop flavor. Somewhat thick, good. Could use a bit more carbonation in my opinion. Good beer, from the folks up in the big BA.

a dark orange / light brown hue. Citrus and grass and piney resin aroma and flavor.

Orange copper color. White ring around top of beer. Hoppy aroma. Grapefruit and perfume with a little orange rind and toasted malt too. Moderated grapefruit and floral bitterness combined with toasty, bready malt. Some lingering dryness, but for the most part, it finishes clean. A nice IPA.

This beer smells pretty good. The pour is a hazy cloudy brownish orange (more brown than orange)with not much head. Little lacing to speak of. The hop punch is apparent before it even gets to your mouth. I’m not too crazy about how this is rounded out, it doesn’t have much sweetness, and the body is a little on the light side. Might be something good on a hot day, but it’s really cold outside right now. For as many medals as it won and it’s 92 percentile, I’m not impressed. Hops hops hops and thats it. Hops and water. I’m a hop guy but it’s gotta be rounded out a little better. I just had a Big Sky IPA a few days back and I would have to say that beats this hands down. Not horrible, but not worth the 4 dollar 22oz bottle. after reading the reviews i notice a huge inconsistency with appearance and taste. I wouldn’t hesitate to try it again.

On tap at brewpub. Pours a clear copper with thin white head. It has a sweet malty aroma along with sweet grapefruit hops. Nice. The flavor is sweet sweet malts combined wit hgrapefruit hop bitterness and some sweeter grapefruit late addition hop flavor. Overall this is a bit too sweet for my IPA tastes. Into the finish a citrus hard candy note wells up and overtakes the other notes.
