Mellow hops is very integrated with the malt resulting in understated yet nuanced hops aromatics. Good crispness without a lot of bitterness. madcow75 (425), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA

Light sweet caramel-citrus aroma. Flavor starts lightly sweet with some grapefruit and finishes with a lightly dry orangy taste. Body is kinda watery, but it’s not a bad pale. Almost smells like sun tan lotion. Transparent amber color with a small khaki-colored head. Piney floral start turning watery with a little more pine to finish. Mildly astringent and thin. Needs some more malts. SDbruboy (1833), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 16, 2005 Bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber with a large and rocky off-white head. Aroma is dominated by malts with a bit of floral and citrus hoppiness. Flavor is also malty, slightly metallic and citric with hints of grass and herbs. Light to medium body and very little carbonation on the tongue. Pretty good session ale with the moderate alcohol level. SDalkoholic (1198), Chula Vista, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 14, 2005 Oh wow the head created from a simple pour is overflowing the glass. What’s the deal here? Giant fluffy head that’s looks like a cloud pillow. Honey color hue and lots of lacing upon the glass. Nose is full of hops and citrus. Flavor is an easy going hop character of grapefruit and a earth flavor of dirty wheat. Little bit of a soap taste that barely is noticeable. A mighty fine American PA. Round of an applause...... aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Mar 7, 2005 Pours amber with a medium head. As soon as I cracked the bottle I could smell flavorful citrus aromas of grapefruit and pineapple. Great aroma, got my mouth watering. I was expecting more in the flavor though. Fairly thin, very brief bitterness, very brief taste all together. No finish except for this metallic flavor that disappears quickly. Disappointing. Lace.
