22 oz. bomber courtesy of CelticBrew, and shared with him as well. Slightly hazy gold pour, a little unexpected for the style, but with a substantial white head that lasted nicely and showed some good lace. Aroma of light honey, citrus and some distant pine. Medium body and carbonation, with a mildly resinous mouthfeel. Good balance between the light malt flavors and a citrus rind bitterness that comes on at the end for a pleasingly dry finish.

Pours a very hazy amber-orange, forming large foamy head. Aroma of pines, a bit of wet forrest, caramels with malts. Flavour is full bodied, malt, hops with pines. Some what sticky, with a smooth charatcter that makes it easy drinking beer. A bit tart at the end. Superb beer, would love to try on tap.

Bomber/pint glass. Poured a fairly hazy orange, small white head. Nice floral aroma. Toasted malt with a nice crisp piny hop finish. A little overly fizzy, but a solid APA.

(draught at the brewpub) gold/light copper with very small head. Light citrus aroma. Flavor is very full of citrus/pine hops. Solid APA.

calm, basic, gold-copper body with soapy white head and lacing; light citrus and caramel... simple, light, and smooth--yet with an almost buttery palate--ale, but with tap water aftertaste; decent... this could be a lot better: less buttery palate, more fizz and natural mouthfeel; more active looking body; much more aromatics; different water, more or different mix of hops and malts, maybe even some honey in it... hmm.

Bottle. Pours copper with thin white head, some lacing. Very fragrant - sticky hop aroma, apricot, passionfruit. Extremely well balanced hop/malt flavor. Hops have fresh, piney tasting character. Malt flavor has light grainy bread and toffee. Tiny bit of bitterness lingers in the finish. Very drinkable, good beer.

10-17-07 bottle.
Almost transparent golden amber. Aroma is very light and subtle floral hops with malt covering most of what is there. Initial smell of metal only however. After my first taste, I figured maybe my sinuses were playing a trick on me as I couldn’t smell or taste anything. But as the beer went on and I drank more - my sinuses were not to blame. This is just bland with little to no flavor - almost as though there was a tiny straw that sucked all the flavor out of it and left only dirty water for me to drink. Please understand - this is not a horrible beer - no dreadful flavor or ongoing aftertaste - but instead there is just nothing there at all. Very disappointed.
