Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 12, 2007 (Bottle 65 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving some lacework. Weak aroma of citrus. Medium-bodied, lightly sweet malt and lovely fruity notes of peaches and a whiff of citrus. The finish is dry with a subdued bitterness. A straight APA without any fuss. 280307 omhper (11030), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 10, 2004 Updated: Dec 28, 2004Bottled. Brownish clear amber. Cascade fragrant. Sweet and clean with medium body and loads of lychee-like hop flavour. Medium bitterness. A hugely aromatic APA. Oakes (7047), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 26, 2002 Cloudy amber; Pleasant hop aroma; harsh hops on the palate, astringency, little malt. Maybe not at its best, but not gone off far enough to know for sure. Need another bottle. argo0 (6334), Washington DC, USA Feb 7, 2002 Tasting Notes from Fall 2000: Almost identical to the IPA, but a little less alcohol (5.4% v. 6.8%) and a little less hoppy; faint taste of
pine tree hopdog (4950), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 15, 2005 Bottle acquired in trade with DarkElf (thanks!). Aromas of citrus (lemons) and flowers. Tastes of lemons, tangerines, and light grapefruit. Lightly sweet. Had a light sourness to it - we may have saved this one from going bad.
