No THIS is what a pale ale should be. I am still not sure it is a pale ale since it is so hoppy and more orange-golden in color than I’d expect. The NW hops (Cascade, Columbus, Amarillo) are perfectly balanced in this very easy drinking Amercan ale. Great! Great! Great!

This is one of the freshest pale ales I’ve ever had. Great balance of hop and malt. Round maple notes and ash bottom. Pineapple and mango. Bursting with freshness. Possibly the pinnacle of pale ale pursuits!

MMMM another good Marin brewing company beer. I am really falling for this brewery. Pours with a thick white head that lasts forever. Has a cloudy brown hue. Mouthfeel is super smooth and flavor is full of hoppy goodness and strong malts with little to no bitterness.

Fantastic Pale Ale. Nice light amber coloring. Hoppy aroma. Slight hop bitterness. Light caramel malt flavor.

Only a PA huh? Maybe just by name. The smell is very IPA’ish which is very good IMO. Everything else about this brew is very well ballanced. Nice foam head on it that lasts. Taste, like the smell, leans a little more towards an IPA but not quite like the smell does. The hops are there in the taste but fade pretty quick. Very drinkable, esp. for a hop head.

22 oz bottle. Pours a amber golden clear. Nose is spicy hops. Flavor is bready, yeasty and clean. Excellent APA. Probably one of the best.

Bomber. Orange in color with a small white head. Hoppy and malty aroma. Ash notes. Fruity and malty flavor. Citrusy mango notes. Medium bodied. Finish is hoppy. Very nice beer. Enjoyable.
