A strong ale which has a deep amber color. The bouquet and aroma is full and fruity, with a smooth, round and vinous taste.

Warm mallty aroma with raisins and figs. Dark mohagany body with reddish/purple hues. Full palate. Tons of malt, raisins and caramel in the flavor. Their is some alcohol detectable as well. Nice.

Aroma is dominated by sweet malt and some slight fruit.Pours mahogany with a medium off white head.Raisins, dates and alcohol make up the flavor.Full mouthfeel with a big raisin and alcohol finish.

On tap at Hard Liver. Dark amber w/ medium head. Slight floral hop aroma...with pine. Funky malt taste is different....tobacco and dark fruit.

Bomber. Pours brown with a half finger bubbly tan head. Aroma is sweet and reminicscent of dried fruit. The taste is sweet and smooth with a light lingering alcohol feel. Very drinkable BW.

Bottle. Pours with a dark brown color and a small brownish head. Aromas of malts mainly and some alcohol. Flavors of licorice, raisins and strong malts with some hotness from the alcohol. Medium mouthfeel with a hoppy bitter finish. An ok barleywine but not great.

Rich Dark Chocolate Brown Color with White Ring. Sweet Syrupy malt and Chocolate Aroma. Carries Over to Flavor....Sweet Chocolate, Syrupy Mouthfeel...Hops Balance Sweetness out Well. Nice Warming. Nice Solid Barleywine. Very Easy to Palate.

Clear reddish brown pour. Aroma of caramel and alcohol. Good flavor of caramel, candy, spicy malt and hops. The body is medium with a liquorous texture and moderate carbonation. Interesting.

Bomber poured a hazy brown with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of brown sugar, dark fruit and hints of carmel and toffee. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of maltiness, toffee, light molasses and a hint of dark fruit with a lingering semisweet finish.
