I love it! The nose is so good I could smell it for days. Rich, deep and hearty. Lots of hops and caramel. Really enjoyable. If your into malty brews these guys are the malt masters.

Bomber. Reddish amber body, clear, creamy offwhite ring of steadfast head, no lace. Malty aroma with dark fruits, roasted malts and alcohol notes. Full and thick, somewhat sticky, little carbonation, yet dries surprisingly well on finish. Roasted malt throughout with dark fruits and a surprising noble-hop profile that you might expect in a robust pilsner. Light woody character on finish. Lots of mild hops.

Bomber from Wade’s Wines. Pours murky orangish brown with small light tan head. Aroma is sweet malts, toffee, brown sugar, dark fruits, and some booze. Flavor is sweet malts, toffee, caramel, and dark fruit. Smooth on palate and a little thin. Lacking carbonation a little. Finishes sweet. Pretty good barley wine.

Deep amber pour with light tan head and lace. Aroma of light raisins, sweet malt, and a hint of abv. Light flavor of dark fruit, nice sweet malt, smooth even warmth. Smooth bodied with nice carbonation as well.

Bottle shared at Logan’s 2009 pre-GABF Party. Light brown pour. Oak and bourbon aromas. Beautiful blend of vanilla and pineapple flavors. This one was outstanding. Loved it.

Sampled at Lithy’s Septemberfest Tasting. Nice dark chestnut clear pour with tan small head. Nose of sweet plums and very mellow alcohol. Solid example. Very nice barleywine/
