(22oz. bottle) Pours a dark brown body with a descent creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor of chocolate, caramel, and a bit of lactose sourness in the finish.

22 oz bottle, via dhlesq. Pours a very dark brown colored body with some mahogany edges under a large fizzy espresso colored head. Aroma is very chocolaty and dense with slight roast notes, espresso, and a light hoppiness. Flavor is equal parts chocolate malt, roast, and bright hoppiness. Notes of coffee and an astringent burnt malt finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a very distracting and annoying intense level of fizzy carbonation. Overall, this would have been really great were it not for the excessive carbonation ruining the palate and my overall satisfaction with the beer.

A truly wonderful porter. Fresh dry and filled chocalate and dark molases without being sweet. How do they do that? You forget that porter can be such an excellent platfrom for hops, but this one is. And it has one of the best mouth feels in the category. Thats where the relaxin’ happens.

Simple, fresh and good porter. Mollasses aroma. Nice roast, milkchocolate, and low on the coffee flavour. Medium mouthfeel, with some grain. Easy quaffing with

Beer pours a very deep dark chocolatey brown, almost black. Medium brown head. Nose of roasted toffee and chocolate. A very good porter.

well, I loved this. Big chocolate nose. Licorice tongue. Mouth feel was a bit watery, but this was a damn good porter.

Another fine beer from Marin. Spilt this with a friend and we both enjoyed it. Poured a very dark brown with a tan-brown head. A little sweet and a little roasty with a robust body. I would love another.

This is a decent little porter. Sizeable tan head, with a great roasted malty aroma. Chocolate and coffee are dominant, just a bit of smokey woodiness, hints of vanilla and maple syrup. Tasty
