On tap. Aroma and flavor of roasted malt and bitter coffee. Some sweetness in the mix. Pretty solid porter.

Dec 7, 2008 Tap at Grand Cafe, SF. Paid way too much at this upscale joint. But whatever, was paid by the boss, so better get something worth drinking then. This was quite ok. Poured a dark brown with a medium creamy brownish head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee. Creamy soft tste, some coffee, some roasted malt, hint of chocolat. Very decent brew, no flaws.

Sep 26, 2008 Bomber poured a clear dark brown with a small lasting brown head. Aromas of dark chocolate, coffee, roastiness and light vanilla. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of coffee, bitter chocolate, roasted malt and a hint of vanilla with a smooth roasty finish.
