RunDWP (203), San Jose, California, USA Sep 17, 2008 On tap. Really came across like a lager with raspberry in it rather than an ale. Faint raspberry aroma. Yellow with a fizzy head no real lacing on the glass. Flavors of raspberry and some grassy hops. Not much malt. Raspberry flavor is strong, but I found the combination to work. Not too sweet. Slightly strong in the carbonation, but I found it pretty refreshing.
fakepurseninja (601), Washington, USA Sep 24, 2008 Big raspberry sweetness on a sweet malt backbone. Small cereal malt and light hop notes. Sweet and enjoyable. alexanderj (1523), San Diego, California, USA Sep 9, 2008 Bottle shared with golubj and others. Aroma of rasberry and yeast; like Jon said a bit perfume like. Color of clear, urine gold; by that description this must have been in the latter half of the tasting. Flavor was alot of wheat; a bit of rasberry ending. Not great. golubj (1134), Redwood City, California, USA Sep 4, 2008 Bottle shared at the CA-GA cultural beer exchange hosted by alexanderj. Clearish yellow, with a white ring of head; very clean looking. Aroma is perfume, light raspberries. The flavor is the same with straw-tasting malt. The raspberries taste manufactured. Rogueone (410), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA Jul 28, 2008 Bottle, thanks Mark: Again, not my style here. It’s difficult for me to have a beer with raspberry that doesn’t taste artificial. This is really no exception. Pours a light yellow with a very, very thick amount of white head. Aroma is citrus and raspberry with a hit of sour notes. Flavor is really light, and the finish is distinctly band-aids.
