650 ml bottle from Bevmo. Pours a dark black color with a big tan head that lasts a fair while. The aroma is rich with roasted coffee beans, chocolate and some dark fruits. The flavor features coffee and plenty of roasted grains. The mouthfeel is a bit light for a stout, the carbonation is also understated. The finish is long and a bit sour. Overall: a decent stout but not a great one. Recommended.

Poured a black color with a moderately sized head. Had flavors of coffee and chocolate. Very smooth on the palate with not even a hint of bitterness. As is the case with most stouts this one got a little better as it warmed up.

Absolutely no carbination and pitch black, this brew was the best of the night. Tasted everything like an espresso shot (sans caffeine) with light chocolate flavor. Improved as it warmed from fridge. Excellently dark and smooth.

Bottle from Dirty_Martini. Dark brown body with a small tan head. The nose is moderately sweet with chocolate, molasses and coffee. The flavor is lightly sweet with milk chocolate, coffee and oatmeal. Medium/full body is a bit thin with light carbonation.

Very dark, brown; thin, but apparently long-lasting head. Coffee-laden, wet grain aroma, very earthy. Sweetish, toffee aspect to the aroma as well. Very sweet initially, mocha, light vanilla, grainy flavors. Lightly creamy, wispily smoky, full bodied. Light bitterness, fairly carbonated. It works. It’s a big stout, but stays handily away from coming across as "imperial."

Duane shared a bottle of this with me. Unfortunately, we had this right after a Mikkeller Beer Geek Breakfast, so my rating may be skewed a bit. Black pour with a huge tan head. Slightly roasty aroma, but not very complex. Some chocolate and coffee flavors, but this was very over-carbonated for my liking and it also seemed a bit thin; definitely not creamy as the commercial description boasts. I wasn’t particularly impressed with this one.

Black color with a decent latte colored head. Fitting name as it contains aromas of coffee and oatmeal. Coffee flavors with a hop bitterness to balance the sweet malt.
