Bottle. [Blind tasting session @ Sk8viking] #16 Large creamy light brown head that was mostly lasting. Good lacing. Color was black. Aroma was grain, chocolate, coffee, roasted. Medium to full bodied with a flat carbonation. Flavor was moderated sweet with burned bitterness to balance it. Nice sweet finish.

Blind rating at sk8viking´s. Pours black with a light brown head. Smells of dark chocolate and toasted malts. Tastes sourish with lots of toasted malts. Metals in the finish.

Bottle. Pitch black thick brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt, giving it a bit of acidity, but also notes of dark bitter chocolate, leading to a dry bitter roasted and chocolaty end. But the body is a bit thin.

Bottle from Richard, thanks man! This was a surprise in the box that Richard sent me, and one that I was glad to get a hold of. Pours out a dark brown to almost black color. Smell is sweet, some oak / wood smells, malts, perhaps a tad bit of hops, some chocolate and of course coffee. Taste is sweet and smooth and very rich and creamy. Really thick, but it actually goes down really easy - just like this girl I used to know. Really good stuff, thanks for this one richard. If anything, this is a session stout.

A very nice stout. Pours very dark with a thick head. Head disapates to a nice brew. Flavor is very good with a strong smoked texture. Aroma is very sweet. Mouthfeel is smooth with a nice aftertaste.

Bottle. Dark, murky and mysterious. Leaves one wonering what lies in its depths. No light could penetrate. Cream brown head helps to keep its secrets. Aroma is steeped with chocolate, hickory and almond. Flavor matches the dark nose adding coffee to the mix. The only downfall I could find was in the palate. With a brew as heavy in everything else, the feel left me wanting. Too thin for my taste.
