Generous chocolate on the nose, deep black colour and a nice firm frothy head. Flavour is heavy on the roasted aspects and some wheat and barley mixed in with coffee and bitter dark chocolate. Add a little bit of cacao and espresso and you have a fine stout in your hands...now drink it, you scrub!

Pours black with a decent dark khaki head, toasted oats aroma, taste of roasted coffee and smooth chocolate mouth feel, very slight bitter end. very smooth brew for the amount of body it has. Need to try this one!

Getting my notebook online. Pours a rich black with a nice tan head. Great coffee flavors. Creamy chocolate on the mouth. Real good beer!

Black pour with thin tan head. Roasted malt aroma with some sweetness and hops. More roasted malt with chocolate, slightly bready flavor with some nice hops on the finish. Good creamy mouthfeel.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours pitch dark with a lovely creamy and chocolate brown head slowly diminishing in this lovely melting way into the beer beneath. Chocolate, roasted malt, mild vanilla and light hops fruity aroma. Flavour has all of this in a nice creamy blend with a fruity flavour that lends itself towards a blackberry note. Medium sweet and fruity hops finish swept in a nice creamy chocolate malty and slight tarish roasted malt finish. Lovely and highly drinkable!

On tap. Flavors and aroma of bitter chocolate and an interesting smokey characteristic. Pretty malty. No sweetness to speak of of. Pours a jet black. Good, not great stout.

From a 22 0z. bottle purchased locally. Aroma is full of dark chocolate and coffee. Earthy hop aroma. Opaque black with a thick light brown head. Citrusy hop flavors followed by bready malt and then chocolate and roast. Not overly bitter. Balanced nicely with the hops and malt. Dry, no residual sweetness, but thick and chewy. Very nice.

Black pour with a tan head. Slightly over carbonated. Roasty aroma. Chocolate & espresso with a crisp clean palate.
