Wow this recipe could go in a lot of directions. They should make this into a double red. Super delicious. The grains are dominant. Highly underrated. Marin Brewing and Moylan’s are linked by ownership and their beers are very similar. If you like reds you gotta try this one.

Turbid reddish amber in color. Fluufy head quickly dissipates. Slight peachy aroma. Sweet malts are on the forefront, but this is not a crystal bomb. Very restrained and balanced. Some caramel and apple, very quick and pleasing flavor. I really like it!

Bomber poured into a pint glass. Pours orangish brown with a thick, creamy, lacy tan head. Aroma is grainy and sweet with a coppery metallic note. Flavor is better with a big toasty caramel note along with toffee and slight orange. Vague mineral finish. Pretty full flavored and tasty. Chewy mouthfeel, good drinkability.

On draft at brewpub in Marin. Arrived in the glass a nice clear reddish amber color with a small beige head which left some lacing. Aroma of caramel malts, notes of ripe peach and plums, a pleasant floral hop bouquet. Rich malty flavor, toasty and caramel malts, sweet orange juice, toach of molassses and more floral hops giving a good crisp finish. Medium body with pleasantly biting carbonation.

Botella. Hazy amber orange colour. Sweet, yeasty, caramel and hoppy aroma. Sweet very good fruity flavor with yeast, caramel and malt.

Bottle @ danish RB Gathering 09. Pours unclear amber with a small creamy white head and lacings. Fresh hoppy nose. Peach and apricot. Smooth and full bodied. A bit of caramel. Fine balance. Quaffable.

I thought it was pretty honest to its style.. Although not that red, it did have a malty, earthy and slightly caramely nose and taste. Some grassy hops and bitterness in the finish. Crisp and refreshing with some nice flavor.

Got this dusty bottle at the Bottle Barn in Santa Rose and there is no bottle date so I am not sure how old this was. The 22 oz bottle poured a very clear copper red color with a nice tan head and lots of lacing. Big nose of caramel malts and floral hops. Smooth and slick mouthfeel. Flavor is dominated by the caramel malts but there is some ripe fruit and again floral hops. Finish is dry. Enjoyable.
