Apr 8, 2008 Tap. Pours with a orange to copper color. Not much of an aroma perhaps some sweet molassess. This beer tastes cloyingly sweet, very syrupy and not much else. I cannot discern any wheat. I dno not believe that the attempts by various brewers to fortify a wheat beer are going anywhere. Just leave this style alone. This beer is an aberration without any redeeming qualities.

Mar 16, 2008 Bomber (9.2%) from Bev4Less. Light amber in color upon pouring. Sweet sugary aroma with a bit of fruitiness. Quite sweet and malty up front. Slick mouthfeel. Some grains and fruitiness. A little bit of hop bitterness towards the end. A hint of alcohol. A smooth sipper.

Feb 8, 2008 22oz bomber. Pours a deep yellow color with a thinnish white head. No Lace. Smells like frozen corn. Wheat too, I guess. Tastes like grain. Sweet, very light, corn tasting malt flavors. Thick mouthfeel for a yellow beer. Subdued carbonation. Tasty and different, but potent and somewhat sickly sweet.

Feb 2, 2008 Bomber poured a clear orange with a small lasting offwhite head. Aromas of fruitiness, wheat, light carmel, sherry and white pepper. Palate was medium bodied smooth and lightly warming. Flavors of apricot, peach, light carmel and white pepper with a smooth warming lightly sweet finish.

Jan 1, 2008 22 oz. bottle from BevMo LaJolla. Pours orange amber with a slight haze and a large white head. Orange fruit, honey, tart wheaty notes, fruity yeasts along with some floral hoppiness and evident alcohol. Nice tart fruits, citrus, rich wheat and malt flavors, floral and bitter herbs, with a warming alcohol finish. Medium to full body, creamy carbonation.

Dec 25, 2007 The taste is very good. Not as good as the Bells beers I have tasted though. The after taste is to strong and not so good, maybe because the alcohal content is 9%, not sure. Hits the spot but only good for one beer for the night.

Dec 25, 2007 Bottle from Dirty_Martini. Hazy amber body with a small white head - fading. The nose is lightly sweet and hoppy with grapefruit, dough and flowers. The flavor is moderately sweet, moderately bitter with cracker, grapefruit, orange peel and herbs. Full body is sticky with moderate carbonation and a warm finish.
