Pours very pale, clear, can see through the beer. Aroma is over-the-top hoppy-ass (resiny pines and tropical fruits) wheat wine. Ended up turning into a lactose/milk hop flavored beer. Get some cider flavors, hoppy bitterness, without substance. Seems like they could not decide exactly what they wanted to do with this beer. redlight (1492), Winter Park, Florida, USA

Aroma of toffee, wheat, citrus and raisins. Just a bit of heat in the taste. Bitter hops nicely balances the sweetness. Medium to heavy body. A different and very fine BW. jake65 (1725), Williston, North Dakota, USA

The aroma is interesting - part of it is kind of like some rotting green veggies, yet other parts, alcohol soaked wood, and heartburn mixed with beer breath. The taste is great offering a blunt bitterness that leaves a lot for you to deal with afterwards. It leaves a thick film in your mouth. Interesting and odd, but enjoyable. Thanks Indiana_Red! | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 12, 2007 A sweet wheat aroma with a slight spiciness reminiscient of a Belgian Golden. This beer is an mildly unfiltered golden color with pretty much no head. Flavor is wheat, sweetness, and lost of alcohol. To me this tasted somewhat like Duvel. The body of this beer is actually pretty mild compared to what you would expect for being this big.
