aspidites (1268), manteca, California, USA Nov 19, 2006 Garlic and pine nose with abit of astringency. Fairly well balanced mouthfeel with a big emphasis on hop resin. Nice for a summit beer. Still hate this hop. bb (2320), Martinez, California, USA Jul 29, 2006 Draft. Bronze, off-white head. Fruity aroma. Fruity (summer, slight citrus) flavor with some pine and a bit of sweet malt backing. LIngering bitterness. beerguy101 (3608), Newark, California, USA Jul 10, 2006 Tasted on tap at the Drakes 1st Annual Beer Festival and Washoes Tournament. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is floral and herbal. A medium bodied India Pale Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are floral, herbal and citrusy. Lots of orange and tangerine flavors, fairly sweet. Low end of the bitterness scale. Much more fruity than bitter. Nice balance. Very smooth. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
