Apr 16, 2004 I really liked this brew when I visited Newfoundland. But there is nothing bad about Newfoundland. It goes good with moose meat. I disagree with Oakes because in my opinion I thought it was much better than Keith's. PS, Oakes, I'm always confused. I do think this is better than Keith's ,though.

May 15, 2002 I love ales but I wouldn’t call this on I think this was more like a lager then an ale in my books anyway. Keith’s is the way to go when I look for a IPA!

Nov 6, 2000 Oakes is right again. IPA is by definition hoppy - otherwise the beer wouldn’t have made it to India. So why label beer with such low hoppiness an IPA? Typical Canadian golden ale.

Sep 23, 2000 One of the anomalies of the beer world is the use of the term IPA in Atlantic Canada for bland golden ales. This stems from Keith’s IPA, which probably was an India Pale seventy-five or one hundred years ago, but has not been in a long time. So this beer is mislabelled in an attempt to compete with Keith’s. Confusing, I know.
