Crimson ruby mahogany with tan head & lacing. The aroma is hoppy with light roast & astringency. The flavor is sharp with black patent & hops. Finishes mild, tart. A bit unbalanced.

On draught at the Jolly Roger brewery/taproom grill in suburban Seattle, WA. Pours an opaque dark brown brew with a creamy light tan head that slowly dissipates to a fine film and beige ring. Aroma of toasted dark malt, some chocolate, dark pitted fruits and some coffee. Taste is smooth, creamy, very light carbonation with flavors of toasted dark malt, dark pitted fruits, chocolate and some roasted vegetables. Finish has a light metallic and mild bitterness along with a toasted dark malt aftertaste. Nice to find this porter during the middle of summer.

On tap at the Jolly Roger Taproom. Dark brown body with a smooth beige head. Roasty nose of dark chocolate and coffee. I thought this was a pretty nice porter, smooth and balanced with some nice dark chocolate flavors finishing with lingering chocolate sweetness.

Dark brown, lasting tan head.Malt nose. Sweet malt taste with decent body and some finishing hops. Good lace. If you ever get a chance to have this on nitro at the brwery, don"t pass it up. NOTE:If you get a chance to try this on Nitro at the brewery do so
